SAP has announced to discontinue its own mobile solutions Mobile Asset Management (MAM) and Mobile Asset Management for Utilities (MAU).
For customers seeking a future proof solution that can be implemented in a SAP-environment quickly Handyman is the solution of choice.

ePocket is working closely together with experienced SAP consulting companies that have deep experience in integrating Handyman in SAP. This enables us to deliver a proven mobile solution fully integrated into your SAP environment within weeks.
Today the integrations of Handyman into SAP are as diverse as the use of SAP by our customers:
Light-integration:
Handyman is used for order-management. Once completed orders are exported to SAP for invoicing. This scenario can be implemented very quickly and provides a significant process improvement with limited investments.
Full integration of Handyman into SAP:
SAP is acting as the leading order-management and accounting system. Handyman is used for mobile work-order management and optionally for scheduling using the Handyman Resource Planner. Orders are generated in SAP manually or automatically e.g. through a maintenance plan. All registrations made by the technician on his mobile device using Handyman are reported back to SAP. There the data will update service notifications, update equipment or asset records, populate invoices and many other business objects.
Integration of different SAP modules:
Handyman can be integrated in various modules of an SAP system to bring data from the module to the mobile device and back:
- SAP CS (Customer Service)
- SAP HR CATS (Time Recording)
- SAP CRM (if customer service is implemented as part of CRM)
- SAP PM (maintenance)
- SAP IS-U (maintenance and service for utilities)
- SAP FI/CO (invoicing, controlling)
- SAP MM (materials, stores)
Integration using different technologies:
- Direct handling of XML-files in SAP
- Handling of XML-files in SAP NetWeaver via SAP XI
- Integration using Handyman Webservices interface and SAP NetWeaver
